ESP32 Super Board or "ESP32 Development Board with Full Color OLED" Rev. 3 ########################################################################## • Designed by: Microwavemont • Product page: https://www.tindie.com/products/microwavemont/esp32-dev-board-w-full-color-oled-rev3/ Product Description =================== IoT also wants COLOR! Let's add colorful information for IoT device! ESP32 with full-color OLED, and LiPo charging circuit! What's new in REV.3 ------------------- • microSD card is connected to simple SPI bus. (CS of microSD: GPIO13) • PIFA antenna portion of ESP32 is re-arranged for better wireless-link. From Rev.2, LiPo battery charger is selectable by jumper. The REV.2 board can work USB-bus power. What is it? ----------- The powerful ESP32 WiFi module with full color 0.95inch 96x64 pixel OLED display connected through SPI and LiPo charging circuit! Why did you make it? -------------------- I simply like OLED display, especially colorful OLED is really fun to see! It will add lots of possibility to IoT. What makes it special? ---------------------- Color OLED requires some high voltage. I have lots of experience of voltage booster in Atmel Smart (ARM) board, like my Ultima series. With such an experience, this board is really stable and we can simply enjoy the color world! LiPo charging circuit enables standalone operation and also micro SD card slot is connected to SD card bus of ESP32 (I think it is not yet implemented in Arduino. Let's enjoy to wait this future feature.) Sample code driving OLED is uploaded to GitHub: https://github.com/kodera2t/ESP32_project/tree/master/ESP32_color_board Revision 1 Caution ------------------ Caution! Please prepare single cell LiPo battery (3.7V). LiPo is a member for operation, and not optional one. Even not the case of standalone (PC-connected operation), please connect LiPo battery to this board for operation. Any capacity is acceptable but larger one leads to longer standalone operation. Revision 2 ---------- From Rev.2, LiPo battery charger is selectable by jumper. The REV.2 board can work USB-bus power. https://github.com/kodera2t/ESP32_project/tree/master/ESP32_color_board Video ===== "ESP32 developing board with full-color OLED" • URL: https://youtu.be/bJLtZXAEbx4 • Date: 2017 March 20 • Duration: 1m31s
